Yes, you heard that right, we’ve released a Universal Binary for all you Intel Mac folks. We wanted to make sure we had kicked the tires on it a bit before making it public.
A few of you may have been prompted to get the new download a few weeks ago, and if you haven’t, well then:
Download Mac Meetro 0.66 now!

I tried it on multiple machines in different physical locations using different ISPs.
At work: an eMac running OS X 10.4.9 — I don’t have the rest of the stats for that machine handy.
At home: 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo iMac, 1 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, running OS X 10.4.9.
Meetro 0.66 crashes immediately upon login on both machines.

I’ve just updated and I’ve lost all my settings and profile. I also can’t get the new version to run longer than five minutes. It’s just crashing on me.
Machine Model: Power Mac G4
CPU Type: PowerPC G4 (3.2)
Number Of CPUs: 2
CPU Speed: 1.25 GHz
Memory: 512 MB
OS X 10.3.9

Great work on Meetro!!.
Although i have noticed the same problem on 10.3.9 on G3 600 iMac. As soon as it starts it just crashs every time.
Tested on two G4 PowerMacs one Running 10.4.9
(2gb Ram, 450 G4) and that works fine. The other runs 10.4.6 (same specs but only has 1.2gb of ram), that ones also fine.
Would be nice to be able to stick it on My iMac aswell as my daughters, yeah shes already a fan of it but as yet hasnt been able to use it (apart from when she nicks one of my G4’s pfft)
Other than though keep up the great work guys.

Keep working on it. There’s potential here. You still need to improve the site though.
For one thing, change “spread” to something more explanatory like “spread the word” or “tell friends.”
Best of luck,
Matt
